Getting started
How does BillFresh work?
You forward or snap receipts on WhatsApp. Our AI extracts vendor, total, tax and category. Approved receipts push to Xero, Google Drive or your accountant. That's it.
Do I need to install an app?
No app needed. BillFresh lives inside WhatsApp, your email inbox, or our web dashboard.
How long does setup take?
Most teams are live in under 5 minutes — connect WhatsApp, invite your team, done.
Pricing & plans
Is there a free plan?
Yes — Personal is free forever (30 receipts/month). Business has a 14-day free trial with no card required.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes — upgrades are immediate, downgrades take effect at next renewal. Cancel any time.
What happens when I hit my receipt limit?
We'll email you well before you reach it. You can top up with a Receipt Bundle (HK$80 = 200 receipts, no expiry) or upgrade to a higher plan.
Security & compliance
Where is my data stored?
In regional data centres (HK, SG, EU, US) with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit.
Do you train AI on my receipts?
Never. Your data is used to power your account only and is never used to train foundation models.
Are you SOC 2 compliant?
SOC 2 Type II is in progress, expected Q3 2026. ISO 27001 certification follows in Q4.
Integrations
Which accounting tools do you support?
Xero (live), Coreminder (Enterprise). Sage, QuickBooks, MYOB and FreshBooks are on the roadmap.
Do you integrate with Google Drive?
Yes — approved receipts are mirrored to a folder of your choice as PDFs + structured CSVs.
Is there an API?
Yes — REST API with API Keys on every paid plan. Webhooks for receipt.created, receipt.approved, and more.
AI & OCR
How accurate is the OCR really?
On real-world receipts (thermal, faded, crumpled, Asian fonts) we hit 98.7% accuracy on vendor + total. You can correct anything in two taps and the model learns your preferences.
Which languages are supported?
English, Traditional & Simplified Chinese, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Bahasa, Tagalog, French, Spanish.
Can the model learn my categories?
Yes — custom categories train the model for your business, with sync across your team.
Billing & cancellation
Can I cancel any time?
Of course. Monthly plans cancel any time, yearly plans refund pro-rata. Export everything as PDF + CSV before you go.
Do you offer annual discounts?
Yes — Personal annual is 25% off, Business annual is 20% off. Enterprise pricing is bespoke.
Which payment methods are supported?
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Alipay HK, FPS, bank transfer (annual only).
